Early Childhood Education Classroom (ECE)
Child Eligibility
Ohio Department of Education rules states there are several requirements that must be met to qualify for this program.
- Children must be four years of age as of October 1.
- Family incomes must be at or below the income levels establish by the Ohio Department of Education (available upon request).
- All children must be potty-trained for admission to the program.
Family Eligibility
ECE funds are used to provide preschool services to economically disadvantaged children whose family incomes fall at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. Exceptions are children with disabilities, children with a case plan or family service plan, or a child placed in Kinship Care.
