Area schools allow qualified high school students to take college-level courses in their high school. Students can earn high school and college credit for each completed course. Guidelines for the program are:
- Students must meet the college and district requirements for admission to the program. Each college has certain entrance requirements, such as: COMPASS scores, ACT or SAT scores or other requirements. School districts have student guidelines for their College Credit Plus (CCP) program. Consult your high school counselor for more information.
- CCP teachers must meet each college requirements to become adjunct professors.
- CCP courses at the high school use the same textbook, syllabus and course materials as the college course.
- Collaborative agreements between each college and school district are required.
