Non-Certified Employees' Professional Development

A key part of the services provided by the Stark County Educational Service Center revolves around professional development for the non-certified staff. Opportunities for growth in the areas of business operations, custodial/maintenance operations, transportation, and workers compensation are provided. Bloodborne Pathogens, OSHA Circuit Training, Forklift Licensing, Asbestos Refresher Training, Bus and Van Driver In-service, as well as Grants Management classes are offered. In addition, more than 30 Roundtables are coordinated for Business Managers, Facilities Managers, Food Service Supervisors, Nurses, Transportation Coordinators, Treasurers and the Workers’ Compensation Group.

The ESC staff is dedicated to providing professional growth opportunities to the non-certified staff to assist them in working toward the goal of raising student achievement county-wide.
